Visit to the Doctor

We went to the doctor today and had a picture of our little blob taken. It is almost an inch long and was squirming a little bit. It's heart was moving very fast! How exciting!

Long Time...Many Changes

Well, It has been a while since I posted. I have been busy with work and life. My wife Lafae is pregnant with our 4th child. That should make life even more exciting and challenging. I was looking through old pictures and came across this one. It is from 1994. LaFae and I were going to a dance (thanks Jared) at the church. Those were very exciting days! The onset of young love!

Busy couple of weeks...

It has been very busy around the Duggan household. I attended Boy Scout Camp with my troop two weeks ago, and Lafae was at girl's camp with the young women in our ward for a whole week after I got back.! She is gone this week in Salt Lake City, attending Greg Jr's wedding tommorrow at the SLC Temple. I am here in Winder with the kids. Today we went and saw Robots at the movie theater. Becka was unusually active as she asked me to go potty every two minutes! The challenge for the next four days is to keep these three occupied and to keep myself sane!

Tabby's last week

Tabby just finished up school for the year. She had a great week and won a few awards at her school. She won a $25.00 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble for having the highest Accelerated Reader (AR) points in the entire second grade! She also was on the honor roll and received a certificate for her 2nd place spelling bee finish. Her teacher also gave her a "Most Dependable" award. Tabby had a great 2nd grade year and she is excited for her summer break! Adam finished pre-k and is all set for Kindergarten. It will be fun having both Adam and Tabby going to the same school. It will make our mornings a little easier!

Father-Son Campout

Adam and I went to a campout put on by our stake. We had a great time together! We didn't get a chance to roast marshmellow on the open fire, but we did get to watch a movie under the stars! It was a beautiful night. Adam spilled his canteen of water on him midway through the movie, so we went back to the tent, changed him up and then read some books that he had brought. We read "just me and my dad" by mercer mayer. We have read that book together everytime we've gone camping. After that we quickly fell asleep. It got cold in the middle of the night, so we bundled up together. The next morning we had a great breakfast of pancakes, bacon, juice and some Samoan turkey concoction! It was great! We played a little ball together then had to head back to civilization to take Tabby to ballet practice. Her recital is coming up in the next couple of weeks and she is getting nervous. LaFae spent the day with her sister Amy at an event called "Timeout for women...

Can't we sleep in??

Forgot to mention...

LaFae turned 30 this week! Time to get out the Depends!

Busy week!

Well, I'm glad this week is over! We had three tee-ball games, I had three softball games, and a Boy Scout Advance-a-Rama to preside over! I made it to Adam's three games, but only made it to one of may softball games since the first two conflicted with the teeball and the Advance-a-rama. Adam did great! He is really improving his hitting...he just can't get to first base fast enought before being called out! His little legs only go so fast. He did make it to second base in one game, and the batter hit the next ball right to him, and he picked it and handed it to the second baseman! It was pretty hilarious! At my game, we were lost 0-16. I only got to bat once, but I was one of the few that even got a base hit. I had a single, but no one could hit me in. Next Friday is our last game of the season, but I will be missing that because Adam and I are going to a Father-Sun campout. That should be a lot of fun. We went camping by ourselves last year and had a blas...

Tee-ball results

Adam's team won by forfeit last night because the other team did not have enough people. They still played and Adam went 2-2 with 2 singles. The first hit he cracked it over the coach's head! He is really progressing along with the game and seems to be having a good time as well!

Becka LOVES G.G. Duggan's gift!

Becka's B-Day!!

Well, today our Becka is the big 0-2! He have had an eventful morning with her already. Adam's tee-ball game was rained out, so we headed to Athens and went to Toys-R-Us to pick up some gifts. It was funny, Adam and Tabby didn't understand the concept that we were there for Becka and not for them! Everytime we turned around, it was "What about me?" Well, they'll have to suffer through the day somehow. Becka actually set them straight, when in the car the kids were whining about not getting anything, Becka shouts "It's MY birthday!!" That kid is no pushover. We are going to have a quite little party tonight, just the five of us. We had gone out to lunch today, and so I think we will just be having dessert for dinner! Yesterday, I had gone to Adam's pre-school for "Donuts for Dad". Adam showed me around his class and we played Legos for a few minutes. I felt bad going to work that morning, because Adam was so proud that he coul...

2nd Place...

Tabby took second place in her spelling bee today at County Line Elementary school. She was second out of all the second grade classes that participated! The word she missed was "petroglyphs"...I'm not even sure what that is! She said she was very nervous every time she went up to spell a word. I am really proud of her. She is excelling at her reading and spelling and it is because she LOVES to do both. Now if only she loved math as much as she loves reading, than we would be in good shape!

Teeball game

Adam's team lost their game tonight 13-17. They all played pretty well, but the other team had a few really good hitters. Adam went 0-3 tonight, connecting with 3 pitches, but his little legs were just not fast enough to get him to first before the ball! We had another really busy day at the office. Our receptionist had to leave early, so I helped cover the switch board. It was hard to get through this set of plans I needed to finish, but I did. Man, being outside for the last couple of hours really set off my allergies! Georgia is vicious during the spring...the pollen is everywhere!

Saturday Morning...

Another busy morning. Tabby had her friend stay over last night, so they were up pretty late. She also had a b-day party to go to at 10:00am. She went with some friends to see "Robots"...better her then me! I had a missionary activity this morning with the youth. We went to some members homes who had not been to church in a while. We had some good visits. Lafae just got back from a meeting at her work, so we will see how the rest of the day works out when Becka wakes from her nap!
