Tabby's last week

Tabby just finished up school for the year. She had a great week and won a few awards at her school. She won a $25.00 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble for having the highest Accelerated Reader (AR) points in the entire second grade! She also was on the honor roll and received a certificate for her 2nd place spelling bee finish. Her teacher also gave her a "Most Dependable" award. Tabby had a great 2nd grade year and she is excited for her summer break! Adam finished pre-k and is all set for Kindergarten. It will be fun having both Adam and Tabby going to the same school. It will make our mornings a little easier!

Father-Son Campout

Adam and I went to a campout put on by our stake. We had a great time together! We didn't get a chance to roast marshmellow on the open fire, but we did get to watch a movie under the stars! It was a beautiful night. Adam spilled his canteen of water on him midway through the movie, so we went back to the tent, changed him up and then read some books that he had brought. We read "just me and my dad" by mercer mayer. We have read that book together everytime we've gone camping. After that we quickly fell asleep. It got cold in the middle of the night, so we bundled up together. The next morning we had a great breakfast of pancakes, bacon, juice and some Samoan turkey concoction! It was great! We played a little ball together then had to head back to civilization to take Tabby to ballet practice. Her recital is coming up in the next couple of weeks and she is getting nervous. LaFae spent the day with her sister Amy at an event called "Timeout for women...

Can't we sleep in??

Forgot to mention...

LaFae turned 30 this week! Time to get out the Depends!

Busy week!

Well, I'm glad this week is over! We had three tee-ball games, I had three softball games, and a Boy Scout Advance-a-Rama to preside over! I made it to Adam's three games, but only made it to one of may softball games since the first two conflicted with the teeball and the Advance-a-rama. Adam did great! He is really improving his hitting...he just can't get to first base fast enought before being called out! His little legs only go so fast. He did make it to second base in one game, and the batter hit the next ball right to him, and he picked it and handed it to the second baseman! It was pretty hilarious! At my game, we were lost 0-16. I only got to bat once, but I was one of the few that even got a base hit. I had a single, but no one could hit me in. Next Friday is our last game of the season, but I will be missing that because Adam and I are going to a Father-Sun campout. That should be a lot of fun. We went camping by ourselves last year and had a blas...

Tee-ball results

Adam's team won by forfeit last night because the other team did not have enough people. They still played and Adam went 2-2 with 2 singles. The first hit he cracked it over the coach's head! He is really progressing along with the game and seems to be having a good time as well!
